Week 1
- Obtain containers - ie: plastic buckets, backpacks, gym bags etc
Week 2
- Assemble items necessary for sanitation kit
Week 3
- Select a complete set of clothing for each family member. Loose fitting - ie: sweat pants, T-shirts and tube socks are not outgrown quickly (Fashion does not matter in an emergency).
Week 4
- Assemble and date basic storable food items for survival not gourmet dining
- Canned food or MRE's
- Meats-tuna, spam, corned beef
- Canned fruits & vegtables
- Peanut Butter (substitute Sunbutter and/or Jam)
- Canned soups, chili or stew
- Chocolate chips or bars, granola bars
- Crackers (Graham or saltine)
- Dry cereal or granola
- Raisins, dried fruit, trail mix
- Hard Candy, fruit snacks
- Drinking Water - 2 quarts per person per day to drink
- Hygiene Water - 2 quarts per person per day for personal hygiene
