System Memory Info
Understand how system memory and what all the numbers mean.
The 2-3-3-6 T1 on your memory breaks down like this in your bios: 1T/2T Memory Timing: 2-3-3-6 *T1* (use 1) (Command Per Clock) CAS# latency (Tcl): *2*-3-3-6 T1 (use 2) RAS# to CAS# delay (Trcd): 2-*3*-3-6 T1 (use 3) Min RAS# active time (Tras): 2-3-3-*6* T1 (use 6) Row precharge Time (Trp): 2-3-*3*-6 T1 (use 3)
I had to look at that twice since your bios switches the order of tRAS and tRP from the way I'm accustomed to looking at them.
When we read memory specs like 2-3-3-6, the order of the numbers is usually taken as:
CAS Latency: 2 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge Delay (tRP): 3 Row Active Delay (tRAS): 6
