Install the cifs package for Windows or Samba shares

sudo apt-get install smbget

-or-

sudo apt-get install cifs-utils

Install smbfs (if needed)

sudo apt-get install smbfs

Linux to windows Domain Share: Run the mount command:

sudo mount -t smbfs //%shareservername%/sharename$ -o username=%username%,workgroup=%workgroupname% /mnt/location

OR

sudo mount -t cifs //%shareservername%/sharename$ -o username=myname,password=123456,workgroup=domain_no_dot_com /mnt/location

[edit] Redhat Flavors

Build a bash script:

vi winmount.sh
#! /bin/bash
# remote //path/remoteshare /localpath  -     -  remote username%password
##########################################################################
mount -t cifs //192.168.0.1/linux$ /mnt/xp20/ -o username=linux,password=123456
